Student Empowerment Through SEL in Music Education: Supporting Neurodiversity, Through SEL & Music Education

Join us for the free, professional learning webinar series about embedding social emotional learning into the music classroom. The next episode is on December 8th (registration required).

Everyone experiences our world and music classrooms differently. Through a deeper understanding of neurodiversity and how that relates to SEL and music education, we can learn to adapt our spaces to truly be music for all. In this episode, Dr. Alice Hammel, Dr. Eugenia Hernandez-Ruiz, and Elise Hackl-Blumstein will explore creating spaces for music education that increase accessibility to empower all students to thrive. They will share and discuss models for making these social and emotional outcomes intentional, embedded, and sustained routines and learning community practices.

The STUDENT EMPOWERMENT THROUGH SEL IN MUSIC EDUCATION: A PROFESSIONAL LEARNING WEBINAR SERIES is presented by Save The Music Foundation and the Center for Arts Education and Social Emotional Learning (ArtsEdSEL).
