Learn about the unique qualities and process of indigo dyeing, along with dye techniques that take advantage of the indigo’s special nature. We will also work with native oak galls as an underdye.

Ashley Eva Brock is a dyer, clothing/costume designer, and fiber artist living in Bolinas CA. She has worked as a dyer for the San Francisco Opera, has done costume design and fabrication for music videos, performance, and film, and sells limited edition hand made clothing. West County Fiber Arts is the studio of felt artist Heidi Harris, on a beautiful 1-acre property in rural Sonoma County, California. Classes will take place both indoors and in the garden.
