The  Herblock Award for Editorial Cartoon offers $1,000 scholarships for three students whose artwork addresses current events, social issues, or political topics. All students in grades 7–12 (ages 13 and up) are eligible to participate and should apply through the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Regional deadlines are as early as December 1, 2021.
