More Info:

In collaboration with The City of Santa Rosa’s Public Art Program and the Santa Rosa Forward Team we will be working together to expand our approach in community/civic engagement through arts activities. This emerging/ mid-career artist will partner with lead artist Erika Lutz of Lost in Forestville to facilitate (3) arts inspired workshops at local Santa Rosa High Schools to gather critically important input about the future of the Santa Rosa community, specifically in: health, housing, and environmental justice. This data will inform the next phase of the General Plan and how the City of SR will grow for the next 30 years.

ABOUT THE ARTS APPROACH
Artists will facilitate teens to co-design a cooperative world building game for the public to play.

Grounded in the present day reality of Santa Rosa, teens will envision an immersive game that invites both designers and players to imagine the journey to a healthy and environmentally just future. The game will manifest as an interactive physical installation of this social project.
