 Santa Rosa, CA, Unknown

Are you looking to get booked by local organizations, schools, and community programs?! This Saturday over 13 organizations are hosting a joined open call to 1) get to know you better 2) to see you in action. Representatives from hiring organizations will be present to connect and see where there might be interest for contracting your services/ seeing how they can support you best! Check the deets below and we can't wait to see you there!

WHEN/WHERE

Date: Saturday, March 25th

Time: 9:30-12pm

Location: In Person at the LBC Education Studio

What to Prepare/ Expect!

Come prepared with a 5-minute warm-up, exercise, classroom demo, or management trick to show off your knowledge and skills with your fellow TAs and local organizations.  The 5-minute demo lesson can be pretty much anything. It can be a lesson introduction, closure/reflection, teaching a rhythm or chant, viewing an artwork with discussion, a warm-up (applies to everything—music, theater, dance, drawing), etc. 5-minutes goes really quickly!  While TAs are leading a lesson, everyone else is playing the role of student. It's fun and engaging! Attendees will learn more about hiring opportunities for teaching artists at the presenting organizations.
