About ‘Laughing Matters’: What makes us laugh? For Laughing Matters we invite artists to submit works with a sense of humor! This show is open to all media including drawing, painting, mixed media, multi-media, sculpture, assemblage, animation, and photography. We also welcome literary works such as original poetry, cartoons, and short stories. All works must be original.

Note: During the run of “Laughing Matters”, the 6th Street Playhouse will present “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown”. Celebrating the 50thanniversary of the classic Broadway musical based on the famous ‘Peanuts” comic strip by native son, Charles M. Schulz, this play is produced in conjunction with the Charles Schulz Museum. (Entries for ‘Laughing Matters’ are not required to follow a ‘Peanuts’ theme!)

The Wine Country Arts Council (WCAC) will retain a 30% commission on all sales. This is a juried exhibition.
