Chop’s Teen Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Santa Rosa.
Our mission is to provide a safe, fun and productive place where teens engage, connect and discover their true potential. We are looking for candidates with youth development experience who are interested in working with teens in 7th-12th grades in a recreation setting. Fingerprint clearance through California Department of Justice is a requirement for employment at Chop’s Teen Club.
POSITION: Music and Recording Studio Specialist
REPORTS TO: Program Director
HOURS / WEEK: P/T. 20 hrs per week during summer
SUMMER HOURS OF OPERATION: Monday-Friday 12-7pm, Saturday 12-6pm
SALARY: $14.00 per hour
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES : Under supervisor of the Program Director, the Music and Recording Studio Specialist supervises and mentors teens while engaging them in various forms of music in the recording studio. The Music and Recording Studio Specialist is responsible for organizing and following checkout and return procedures of equipment, providing instruction on music and recording techniques and ensuring adherence to the Chop’s Code of Conduct. The Music and Recording Studio Specialist is also responsible for coordinating performances for the Chop’s musicians to play at Chops events and in Club 509.
