About SCA: The mission of Sebastopol Center for the Arts (SCA) is enriching lives through the arts. SCA was founded in 1988 as a Regional Art Center, and is now is one of the most vibrant arts organizations in Northern California. Housed since 2012 in the center of town in the Sebastopol Veteran's Building, we present exhibits, performances, classes and events, in the visual, performing, literary and film arts - it means there's always something happening at our Center. Last year our 18 gallery exhibitions displayed 825 works of art from 550 artists. We presented outstanding concerts in a variety of genres. Our Sebastopol Documentary Film Festival screened 52 films and drew filmmakers from Los Angeles, Pennsylvania, New York, and Ireland. And we offered a wide array of art, music, movement and writing classes for adults and children.
