COVID-19 UPDATES & INFORMATION

Our Response to COVID-19 :

Health Policy

The Petaluma Chorale takes the health of its singers seriously. The chorale will not require singers to show proof of vaccination to participate, but up-to-date vaccinations are strongly encouraged. During rehearsals and performances, singers will have the option to wear masks.

Singers who are exhibiting symptoms of illness, have tested positive for Covid, or have had direct contact with a person known to have Covid are expected to stay at home.

Each singer is responsible for taking steps to protect themselves and others. We expect singers who test positive for Covid after a rehearsal will let the director know immediately, so we can let others attending the rehearsal know of any possible exposure. Specific names of exposed singers will not be disclosed.

Neither The Petaluma Chorale nor St. John’s Episcopal church will be liable for singers contracting Covid or any resulting impact.

This policy is subject to change as Sonoma County Health Department requirements change.
