Virtual Launch of the California Arts Education Framework

We are pleased to announce a virtual professional learning opportunity in the launch of the California Arts Education Framework on March 1, 2022.  Sponsored by CCSESA Statewide Arts Initiative, Curriculum and Instruction Steering Committee (CISC) Arts Subcommittee, The California Arts Project, and the Department of Education, leaders from across California are working on the design and implementation of this virtual preview of the Arts Education Framework. 

Learn how the Arts Education Framework supports:

• Developing students' artistic literacy
• Implementing the California Arts Standards for Public Schools, Prekindergarten Through Grade Twelve (Arts Standards)
• Providing equitable arts education for each and every student
