“Parent Ambassadors for Arts” Makes A Bold Start!
The AEA’s Advocacy Team hosted “Parent Ambassadors for Arts” to connect parents across the county with opportunities available through arts education. Find resources to help your school and watch this introductory meeting in English from August 31, 2021 HERE

The arts play a crucial role for students and educators, especially in addressing healing and trauma. Obstacles to access need to be reduced. Convene with other arts education advocates at Arts Education Partners Virtual Gathering to explore solutions.

Using Drawings for Formative Assessment
Encouraging students to draw provides a higher level means for students to demonstrate understanding. Teachers themselves can use simple drawing techniques to offer instruction in a different mode of thinking, while at the same time, giving students a more sophisticated, deeper way to consider and use the knowledge.
