Zoya Ahmed (Santa Rosa), a Maria Carrillo High School sophomore and Sonoma County’s Poetry Out Loud champion, took first place for her original poem “A Concerto of Spice” in the Poetry Ourselves portion of the statewide Poetry Out Loud competition. Read the article HERE
