Fellow creators and marvelous makers – The Slough is rising!

We are very proud to introduce Slough City Studios. New to the Petaluma collectives, we are situated at 409 Petaluma Blvd. South – suite C, with studios, a gallery and a handmade things shop, this fresh take on studio collectives is now looking for resident artists.

We are looking for 4 more artists who are interested in joining our creative community to make us a total of 8 amazing folks sharing the space. We have 2 studios available for $525/mo – just over 50sq ft, one studio for $680/mo and one for $700/mo – both just under 120sq ft. There is also a shared space in the studios where we can come out of our individual studios and have room to work a bit bigger, or where we can gather as a community, or host workshops, etc.

Every studio has at least one wall of pegboard for all your endless organizing, storing, or displaying. As well as electrical outputs and a lockable door, 24 hr access to your studio, shared spaces like the bathrooms, kitchenette, and shared workspace/workshop area also.

Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to accommodate a few things and so for full transparency these include but are not limited to music studios, kilns and multi person studios.

All 7 artists within Slough City will be able to have one annual solo show if they so please. In addition to this we also offer a staffed retail area onsite should you wish to show or sell your work outside of your solo show. (Gallery/shop to open this summer)

Slough City Studios is an endeavor by Ani and Bonnie Bonani. A local couple with a dream to unite creative individuals, nourish and inspire one another, make art more accessible all the while making lots of art! We have a lot to offer and a lot to learn. We also want to do this with other like minded humans who love to make art and want to make some money too (though that is not a requirement, it’s a big bonus about the space).

If this resonates with you and you can hear the slough calling please get in touch! The best contact for us is bonaniartist@gmail.com so please email us with a punchy subject heading so we can get to know you better and answer some of your questions. We’re looking forward to it, The Bonanis
