NOW OPEN:  Fire Memorial Project Manager – Submit Request for Proposal by March 31, 2023

The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors has initiated and is providing funding for a commemorative artwork recognizing families whose members perished in the 2017 wildfire complex. The Supervisors have designated Creative Sonoma as the entity that will facilitate the project on the County’s behalf.

A Project Plan was approved by the Board of Supervisors for this commemorative artwork intended to provide clear guidance to all involved with the project. It describes the entities that are involved in the process, what their roles will be, how decisions will be made, and a budget and timeline.

The County is seeking an individual/team/agency to manage and oversee the process of creating the commemorative public artwork. Proposals must be recieved no later than 2:00pm on Friday March 31, 2023


Proposers will be required to submit all questions in writing per the schedule for staff to prepare written responses to all consultants. Written answers will be shared with all potential bidders through an addendum on the County’s Supplier Portal and email notification. The living wage rate required under the County’s Living Wage Ordinance (LWO) has increased. Effective January 1, 2023, the living wage rate required under the LWO shall be $17.25 per hour, an increase over the previous $16.75 per hour. The adjustment was adopted by the County’s Board of Supervisors on December 06, 2022, in accordance with Sonoma Municipal Code section 2-377(d). All covered employees must be paid at least the increased living wage rate.
