Executive Director:

Sebastopol Center for the Arts (SebARTS) seeks an innovative and entrepreneurial professional to lead the organization and manage its growth for the future. The Executive Director is a strategic thinker and planner and with the Board and staff will lead the organization through a transitional phase of planned growth and adoption of updated business and operational practices. The ED is responsible for the organization’s pursuit of its mission, programmatic and financial objectives ($1.1 mil budget) while serving its existing audience and attracting new ones. The ED will build relationships with community leaders and City and County department heads for partnership opportunities that further the organization’s mission and goals. All candidates should have proven leadership, coaching, and relationship management experience, financial and budgeting skills and a track record of effectively leading a performance- and outcomes-based organization and staff. A sense of humor is a big plus. The ED will have four direct reports: a program director, engagement/communications director, advancement director and a facility manager. Advancement Director:

SebARTS is seeking a committed, community-focused, entrepreneurial professional to support its non-profit advancement goal to double the contributed income of the organization from $285,000 to $570,000 by the end of 2023 and achieve additional fundraising goals thereafter. The AD provides leadership and operational structure to the organization’s advancement efforts to raise contributed funds from individuals, philanthropic granting institutions and corporate givers and coordinates efforts with the program director to raise earned income. The AD participates in the cultural life of the organization by attending and hosting its events and programs. They oversee and direct the business/membership manager in their duties to maintain financial and patron records, caretake members and grow the member ranks.  Full Description HERE

Business Membership Manager:

SebARTS is seeking a committed, community-focused, entrepreneurial professional to support its non-profit business and membership activities. SebARTS has an annual budget of $1.1 million and is supported by contributed (donors, grants and 750+ members) and earned (sales, rentals, fees) income. Its funding supports 9 program areas including: gallery exhibitions and store, Sebastopol Documentary Film Festival, two Open Studios, a full-time ceramic studio, performing arts, literary arts, art education and a native plant demonstration garden. The Business/Membership Manager would provide programmatic financial planning for all of these programs, development and implementation of membership activities, bookkeeping and financial reporting.
