PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Innovative Staff Recruitment Strategies

Last summer, despite additional funding for summer programming, many districts struggled to staff programs and were not able to serve as many youth as they had hoped. A range of creative recruitment strategies and partners must be considered that can help address immediate staffing challenges, while also building stronger pipelines that have longer lasting impact. This “mini-conference” will feature a range of innovative models and partnerships that participants can choose from to learn more about — from institutions of higher education to workforce board, volunteer organizations, and more.
