This unique 3 day course brings together music specialists, and TK-3rd grade classroom teachers to explore, collaborate and create.The two areas of focus are Integration and Music & Movement Stories.

Music and Movement Stories
Enter the young child's world with fantastical music and movement stories that spark the imagination and develop vocal, movement and SEL skills.The stories expand into multi-faceted lessons including songs, rhymes, simple dances, graphic notation, creative movement and language arts.

Instructor Janet Greene, MA, is the TK-3rd grade music and integration specialist
at Oak Grove and Apple Blossom elementary schools in Northern California. She received
Austrian and Fulbright grants to attend the Orff Institute Special Course in Salzburg, Austria.
Janet has been a mentor teacher for Young Audiences of the Bay Area, the Santa Rosa
Symphony’s El Sistema program and the San Francisco Symphony’s Keeping Score project
for classroom teachers. Her international courses for children and teachers have taken her to
Bali, Bhutan,Thailand and South Africa.
