UCLA Arts & Healing is excited to invite you to our free, online series, HOPE (Healing Online for People Everywhere), created in 2020 at the start of the pandemic to support the resilience of our global community through social emotional arts. Want to experience a new tool for creative expression that promotes emotional self-awareness? In this one-hour workshop, learn how to develop your own introspective art journaling practice for centering and resilience. Through examples of various journal exercises—involving a combination of diverse art materiales with simple color and movement practices—you’ll explore quick and easy strategies for building a positive emotional climate in difficult situations.
