Students will learn the fundamentals of rhythm techniques firsthand, explore the rich cultural heritage of the drumming and percussion world, enrich group interaction, call & response, composition, improvisational methods, and the integration of social-emotional skills such as Empathy, Patience, Acceptance, and Promoting positive peer relationship. In summary, students will have the opportunity to showcase a drum and percussion performance.
