About Chris Landwehr Ceramics . . .

I was introduced to pottery when I was 10 years old and worked for a studio potter for 11 years.  I was fortunate enough to be able to take ceramics classes all through high school, college, and later at Santa Rosa Junior College, studying with some world-renowned potters.

After spending 33 years in a mortgage career, I came back to my roots and am now a full-time studio potter.

My wife Maureen and I live in one of the most beautiful parts of the world, the wine country of Sonoma County.  My studio is located at my residence on 3 ¼ acres in Windsor and includes my work-space, display area, covered patio area for my outdoor kilns and plenty of room for inspiration.
