Student Arts Spotlight

Student Arts Spotlight shares the good news of the arts making a difference in students’ lives in a monthly feature. This example of collaboration with Kimzin Creative, Grupo Folklórico Quetzalén, and La Luz provided Sonoma Valley students with experiences in art, dance, culinary, and nature. The camp, Aventura Artistica, offered creativity and fun for students ages 7-12. Congratulations to all!

Grants for School Districts to Support More Arts Education

A 4th Round of Grants will soon be available to school districts! Two options will be available:

  • Those districts that currently have a strategic arts plan can apply for funding to support a district or regional Showcase with an option to include a local artist.
  • Those districts without a strategic arts plan can apply for support to write a plan with a district leadership team and consultant.
