Film Sprint
Founded in Santa Rosa, Film Sprint hosts a series of short-turnaround filmmaking competitions.
Filmmakers are given specific challenges at the start of a production window – typically a single weekend – that they must include as they write, shoot, and edit unique short films.
Established in 2018 as the Santa Rosa Film Sprint, we’ve grown to a nationwide event with filmmakers in every time zone! We’ve always got new events coming up, with a community of creatives that support and inspire one another.

COVID-19 UPDATES & INFORMATION
We take COVID-19 very seriously. We pivoted to a shelter-in-place friendly model in 2020, and our founder was certified as a COVID Compliance Officer for film and television sets to have the best knowledge available to help our participants reduce the risk of exposure.
